Josie dived right into the diverse needs of this energetic and comfortably connected group of yogis. The pranayama in the morning was a real treat; an enjoyable early morning hour of breathing and related activities. Josie really knows her stuff, partly from yearly retreats with Clive Sheridan, and the group were left satisfied, perfectly challenged and ready to flow on to an high vibration asana practice out on the deck. This was followed by a friendly brunch under sunny skies and an opportunity to hit the beach with delicious still sea.
The afternoon practices varied from mini workshops covering chaturanga dandasana and headstand to old skool slow and soft asana moving in time with each yogi’s unique breathing. The evenings were mostly chilled with most hanging around after dinner for tea until the early start beckoned them to snuggle up for an early-ish night. A fantastic week was had by all.
