Always a real pleasure to have the joyful Coral Brown sharing some Prana Flow Yoga. This form of Vinyasa yoga created by Shiva Rea, pulses and flows, leaving you feeling satisfied and uplifted.
Coral brings a very balanced holiday vibe to Yoga Rocks. Not too feminine, not too much yoga, nor too early a start but all of these things in good measure with added light hearted fun for the retreat to really buzz whilst she’s here.
There’s a morning asana class of about 90 minutes into which she expertly squeezes a couple or more hours of yoga. At the same time Coral maintains the stillness, integrity and room for contemplative space. Not an easy thing to do but something Coral does with ease.
Afternoon sessions bring more of the same as well as technique, alignment and asana labs to smooth the flow. During the week Coral’s expert knowledge on yoga and the psyche is subtly present. She is currently writing a book on the subject and if you tickle her she has an awful lot to say.
On recent Coral retreats we’ve organised a boat trip to Preveli river that has been well loved and will probably become a regular feature on this holiday.
It’s far from a righteous retreat – Coral’s easy going attitude pervades and there is space to pursue your own unique yoga holiday.
