Mr David Lurey is an adventurous yoga traveller. He regularly circles Europe and annually leads his popular yearly teacher training in Brazil. Over the summer months he immerses in the cheerful yoga festival scene – you’ll find him happily sitting on moss strumming away and delighting festival goers with his down to earth and funducational methods.

An imaginative crafter of retreats, David offers an ever developing array of yoga nourishment. His steady and accessible, yet strong vinyasa flow forms the basis of the retreat. David’s detailed, clear instructions help everyone, from beginners to teachers, feel supported and stretched.

Anything can happen with afternoons dedicated to more specific workshop style classes. Pranayama, Aadil Palkhivala and Iyengar influenced hip opening sequences,  acrobatic acroyoga on the beach, therapeutic acroyoga or Thai massage can all make an appearance depending on how the retreat develops.

Magical evening chanting is the perfect way to end the day whether you are singing your heart out under the stars or enjoying the soothing distant rhythms from under the covers as you enjoy an early night. David loves to play the guitar and the warm Cretan evenings provide the perfect accompaniment.
